Igor Taber is a Director at Intel Capital Datacenter Investment group leading Big Data, Analytics and Cloud investments. He has led investments and serves on the Boards of Arcadia Data (Hadoop Analytics), BlueData (big data virtualization), DataRobot (machine learning), GoodData (cloud BI), Saffron (cognitive computing, acq. by Intel), Striim (real time analytics) and several other stealth mode companies. He initially joined Intel Capital in 2008 and prior to current investment focus, he led Intel Capital investments in Russia where he invested in number of leading consumer and enterprise companies. Prior to Intel Capital, Igor was Director for Business Development in Intel Broadband Wireless Group where he led engagements with major telecom operator around the world . He was also Chief of Staff to VP and GM of the group. Early in his career he was in product management defining Intel next generation optical and communication products. Igor has MBA from Wharton Business School and Computer Engineering degree from University of Kansas.
